Upon arrive at Incheon Airport, meet and greet by local tour guide. Burger set breakfast provided. Coach transfer to Nami Island for “Winter Sonata” shooting place. It is known as one of the most romantic destinations in South Korea for its stunning natural scenery. During autumn season the entire island covered in rows and patches of red, orange, and gold. Then transfer to Mt. Seorak national park – UNESCO designated this national park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982. We will visit the most well known temple in the region is Sinheungsa Temple. The Great Bronze Statue, get on the cable car. A six minute ride will take you near the top, followed by a 20 minute hike which will take you to Gwongeumseong Fortress at an altitude of 1,200 meters. This location will give you a bird’s eye view of the Seoraksan Mountains.
After breakfast, coach transfer to Gangneung City to visit the 2018’s Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Information Center – Pyeongchang boasts a pristine natural environment. Elected the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics, is well known for its beautiful natural scenery featuring lush forests and clean rivers. Living up to its reputation for record snowfall, Pyeongchang established itself early on as a winter sports capital. Many winter sports enthusiasts visit each year to make the most of the season. After lunch transfer to Yeongpyeong, (For Oct group), we will visit Daegwangryeong Ranch and to experience the cheese making. The Cheese factory has attracted both local and international tourists as well. This was the place where we learned how to make cheese using top-grade fresh milk. (For Nov & Dec group), you can enjoy your Ski lesson by your local guide, Ski equipment included except goggle and mask.
After breakfast, tour to Everland Resort – entertains visitors all year long with various rides, festivals like Global Fair, theme parks including Magic Land, European Adventure and Zootopia, perfect for a great amusement park. Late afternoon, transfer to the Dongdaemun Market – a large commercial district comprised of traditional markets and shopping centers that covers the entire area around Dongdaemun Gate, a prominent landmark in Korea. It is Korea’s largest wholesale and retail shopping district featuring 26 shopping malls, 30,000 specialty shops, and 50,000 manufacturers. All kinds of goods can be found here including silks and fabrics, clothes, shoes and accessories, electronics , leather goods, sporting goods, office supplies, pet products and toys.
This morning, we will visit Namsangol Hanok Village – this peaceful village is a wonderful spot to encounter traditional Korean culture. It features five differing yangban (upper class ) houses from the Joseon era, all relocated here from different parts of Seoul. Also here is Seoul Namsan Gugakdang where traditional music and concerts are staged most evenings. Here you can also partake in cultural programs including wearing hanbok (traditional costumes), calligraphy, making traditional paper (hanji), kites and masks, and sipping traditional teas at Davansa Teahouse. Afternoon tour, go shopping on Korean famous Ginseng shop, DFS and follow by N. Seoul Tower with observatory deck, Trick Eye & Ice Museum, shopping at famous Myeongdong Street – one of the busiest place in Seoul and is among Korea’s premier shopping destinations.
After breakfast, go for last minute shopping for cosmetic shop, Red Pine shop and cookies, after lunch transfer to airport for your flight back to Manila.
