Morning flight to Harbin, Upon arrive transfer for lunch, follow to visit St. Sofia Cathedral, Central Street, St. Sophia Cathedral in Harbin is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church in the Far East. It is 53.3 meters (175 feet) high and occupies an area of 721 square metters (0.18 acres). In November, 1996, it was listed as one of the key Cultural Relics under State Protection. Half a year later, the city government repaired it and renamed it as Harbin Art Gallery. It is respectable landmark for Harbiners and for tourism. After dinner, visit Zhaolim Park Ice Lantern Sculpture show – At night the park becomes a world of lights and ice. The famous ice festival and ice lantern show are held in this park every year. When night fell, the stunning ice lanterns in the park combine light, sound and action together, represent with a great variety of colors. The vivid and fanciful designs collect the beautiful scene in the world. Tonight enjoy a special Hot Pot dinner at Shangri-la Hotel Ice Place restaurant.
After breakfast coach transfer to Volga Manor Russian Resort – Built in 1899, Volga Manor has been telling the history o Harbin. It covers an area of over 600,000 kilometers square. The Russian culture is the theme of it. Volga Manor perfectly combines culture, architecture, wet land with natural scenery. There are more than 30 delicate Russian style buildings in Volga Manor. A fairy tale world during winter (included entrance, Skiing, 1 time snow circle slide), Visit St. Nicholas Cathedral, Pushkin Salon, The Little Birch, tree restaurant and have a lunch at Russian flavor restaurant.
After breakfast, transfer to Songhua River watch the famous Winter Swimming performance, in winter, though the temperature is usually lower than 20 degrees below zero in Harbin, swimming pools are digged on the icy Songhua River and those pools are called Holly Land of Winter Swimming. Ever since the first Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival in 1985, the performance of winter swimming was listed as an important activity of the festival by the city government through the festival, winter swimmers show their unfearing and brave spirits to the world. With almost 1 million visitors so far, watching winter swimming shows has become a highlight of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. Follow to visit Polar Land, Sun Island Snow Exposition, Ice and Snow World, (Option for Dog sledge ride / Horse cart ride), Last stop visit The Flood Control Monument and Stalin.
